Terms of Service

1. What BidMyHoneyDo is (and isn't)

BidMyHoneyDo.com ("the Platform") is an online marketplace that connects property owners and managers ("Landlords") with independent trade contractors ("Contractors"). The Platform does not perform, supervise, or guarantee any services. All work is contracted directly between the Landlord and the Contractor. Contractors are independent businesses, not employees, agents, or subcontractors of the Platform.

2. Vetting and verification

The Platform reviews Contractor applications, which may include checking self-reported license numbers, certificates of insurance, and references. This review is a good-faith screening, not a warranty. Licenses and insurance can lapse, and the Platform does not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by Contractors. Landlords are responsible for their own due diligence before hiring, including verifying current licensure and insurance directly.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials confidential, and be at least 18 years old. We may suspend or remove accounts that provide false credentials, violate these terms, or receive substantiated complaints.

4. Jobs, bids, and payment

Bids are offers made by Contractors to Landlords. Accepting a bid creates an agreement between the Landlord and the Contractor only. Pricing, scheduling, changes, permits, and payment are handled between the parties. The Platform currently does not process payments and takes no commission.

5. Reviews

Reviews must be truthful and based on actual, completed work arranged through the Platform. We may remove reviews that are fraudulent, retaliatory, defamatory, or unrelated to the work performed. Contractors may respond to reviews. We do not compensate anyone for reviews.

6. Prohibited conduct

No false licensing or insurance claims; no harassment; no circumventing the Platform to avoid its rules while using its information; no scraping or automated data collection; no posting of unlawful content.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by Colorado law, the Platform and its owners are not liable for the quality, safety, legality, or timeliness of any services performed by Contractors, for disputes between users, or for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $100 or the amount you paid the Platform in the prior 12 months, whichever is greater.

8. Disputes

Disputes with the Platform are governed by Colorado law, venue in Jefferson County, Colorado. Disputes between Landlords and Contractors are between those parties.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced on the site.
