Privacy Policy

What we collect

All users: name, email, phone, and account activity (jobs, bids, reviews, messages sent through the Platform).
Contractors: business details, service area, trade licenses, certificates of insurance, W-9 tax forms, and references — collected solely to verify eligibility to appear on the marketplace.

How we use it

To operate the marketplace: matching Landlords with Contractors, displaying public Contractor profiles, verifying credentials, tracking insurance/license expirations, and moderating reviews. We do not sell personal information or share it with advertisers.

What's visible to others

Approved Contractor profiles are public: business name, trades, tasks, service area, rates, bio, and reviews. License numbers may be displayed to support verification. W-9s and insurance documents are never public — only Platform administrators can view them. Contact details are shared between a Landlord and Contractor only after a bid is accepted.

Storage and security

Data is stored on our hosting provider's servers in access-controlled directories. Passwords are stored only as salted cryptographic hashes. Uploaded documents are accessible only to administrators. No system is perfectly secure; notify us immediately at admin@bidmyhoneydo.com of any suspected breach of your account.

Retention and deletion

We keep account data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and personal data by emailing admin@bidmyhoneydo.com; we will honor requests within 45 days, except records we must keep for legal or tax purposes.

Colorado Privacy Act

Colorado residents may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Requests: admin@bidmyhoneydo.com.
